What we review in the design

The 3D view supports a more precise conversation about the space: cabinet layout, proportions, open and closed areas and the relationship to existing features. Rather than only saying “I like it” or “I do not like it,” identify what needs to change and why.

• Review where everyday items will be stored and how you will access them.
• Check the planned locations of equipment and features that will remain.
• Consider proportions and appearance together with material and finish selections.

From comments to an approved version

Group comments by area or element. A note such as “add a drawer to the left cabinet” is more useful than several messages with unclear changes. Adjustments are reviewed within the agreed scope; changes to materials, dimensions or work can affect cost and schedule.

The final version and selections should be documented before moving forward with that work. A rendering is a visual representation: lighting and screens can change the appearance of color and grain.

When it starts and what to prepare

3D design takes place after the initial deposit is received and the agreement is signed. The earlier free visit is for measurements, ideas and defining the scope.

• Style references with notes on what you like in each image.
• Specifications for appliances or equipment to be integrated.
• A list of priorities separating essentials from optional features.
