Knowing what comes next is part of a good project.
This is the reference sequence for a custom project. Assembly, prebuilt cabinet installation and other finish work may follow a shorter path; the agreed scope defines which stages apply.
Free visit → scope and estimate → agreement and deposit → design and approval → execution and final review.
STEP 01
Tell us what you want to improve
Start with the estimate form: project type, city, ZIP code and a description of your idea. You can include approximate dimensions, preferred finishes and the timing you have in mind. You do not need a finished design to get started.

STEP 02
Free site visit and measurements
We visit the space at no cost to take necessary measurements, review site conditions and note details that affect the work. We discuss how you use the area and offer ideas and layout suggestions.
Your part and the next step
Helpful to have: style references and information about equipment or furniture that will remain.
Outcome: a clearer basis for the scope; this is not yet the 3D design.
STEP 03
Scope and estimate
The space information helps define what will be built or installed, which materials and finishes are being considered and what work belongs in the proposal. Size is only one factor: layout, drawers, details and installation conditions also matter.

Before accepting: review inclusions, exclusions and any selections still outstanding.
Outcome: a proposal that supports a clear cost discussion without relying only on a reference image.
STEP 04
Agreement and initial deposit
Once the scope is agreed, the project is formalized with the agreement and the applicable initial deposit. The document should identify the work, selections, payments and relevant conditions. Amounts and dates are defined for your project.
Access to your client portal: once your contract is signed, you receive access to your project dashboard. The portal is already available and brings together your project information, current status, progress and details in one place.

Key point: 3D design begins after the agreement is signed and the initial deposit is received.
For checks: payment remains pending until the funds have cleared into the account.
STEP 05
3D design and review
For custom projects, the 3D design helps review layout, proportions and appearance before moving forward with the approved work. This is the time to identify specific changes to a shelf, a drawer location, a storage area or a finish preference.
Your part and the next step
Your part: collect clear comments so the proposal can be reviewed in an organized way.
Outcome: document the approved version. Screen images provide guidance; final selections are confirmed through the agreed specifications.
STEP 06
Preparation and coordination
With the design and selections defined, preparation and scheduling can be coordinated. Timing depends on scope, material availability, approvals and site conditions. Projects do not all require the same stages or the same amount of time.

Before installation: agree on access, the work area and coordination with other trades.
If conditions change: review their effect on scope, price or schedule before continuing the affected work.
STEP 07
Construction or installation
The agreed work is carried out: custom fabrication, assembly, installation or finish carpentry, as applicable. Attention goes to integrating the pieces and finishing details with the actual measurements and conditions of the space.

During this stage: maintain the agreed access and communicate any change in priorities.
Changes to approved work are reviewed and documented and may require an adjustment to cost or timing.
STEP 08
Final review and care
At completion, the result is reviewed against the agreed scope and any details needing attention are identified. Keep your project documents, receipts and care instructions for the selected materials and hardware.

To report a concern: identify the affected area, describe what you notice and share useful photos.
Warranty conditions are established in writing for the project. An honest Google review helps others understand the experience.
Prepare for the visit, without overcomplicating it.
- List what you want to improve and what you want to keep.
- Collect two or three references and explain what you like about them.
- Have specifications for equipment or appliances that need to be integrated.
- Share priorities, a budget range and preferred timing if you have them.
- Explain access conditions and make the area available for measurement.
Questions worth resolving at the start
Does the free visit include the 3D design?
No. It includes measurements, space review, ideas and suggestions. 3D design begins after the signed agreement and initial deposit.
How long will the project take?
There is no single timeframe for every job. Scope, materials, approvals, access and coordination are reviewed before scheduling is confirmed.
What if I want to change something?
Describe the specific change. Feasibility and its effect on price or schedule are reviewed; where applicable, it is documented as a scope change before the affected work proceeds.
Does every job require 3D design?
This sequence describes custom projects. For assembly, installation or other work, the documentation and stages are defined by the contracted scope.
